Solar Boating on the Canals in Chesire on Caracruiser Pike Lock Boat
In
2019 we decided to see if it was possible to convert our 40 year
old
Caracruiser to solar powered electric propulsion.
2021 - Cheshire Canal Trip
This
trip covered the Chester Canal, the Middlewhich Branch and part of the
Tresnt and Mersey Canal. At one extreme we reached Ellsemere Port
and at the other, we nearly got as far as Harecastle tunnel - in
all we covered about 93 miles with 6 nights away.
